Our Approach
At JAM Health and Fitness we believe that healthy eating, regular movement and positive lifestyle choices are essential ingredients in the recipe for a happy, healthy life.
What does this mean?
- fuelling our body correctly with the nutrients needed to operate at an optimal level
- adding physical activity into our daily routine as often as possible
- exercising our heart, lungs, muscles, joints, and bones to maintain strength, flexibility, mobility, balance and aerobic fitness, particularly as we age
- getting adequate sleep;
- keeping our bodies well hydrated; and
- nurturing our mental health by taking time out from daily demands and doing enjoyable
activities that foster feelings of accomplishment, satisfaction and positivity.

OK … so where do you start?
Addressing health and fitness challenges can seem daunting, even overwhelming, but having the support to address these challenges can make a world of difference.
At JAM Health and Fitness, we work with you to break down your needs into manageable bite-sized pieces. We can help you set realistic, achievable goals, keep you accountable, and provide the support, encouragement and motivation you need to reach them, hopefully having a laugh along the way!
We also believe in a non-diet approach to weight loss management, where switching to healthier, more wholesome foods, adjusting portion sizes and eating intuitively by being in touch with our inner feelings of hunger and satiety, shines the spotlight more on health gains through healthy eating than counting calories and stressing over nutrition calculations.
We will work with you to help build your confidence, create new healthy habits to replace old ones, and develop strategies for maintaining positive behaviours for life!
Ultimately, your success will depend on your commitment to improving your lifestyle and prioritising your health and fitness.
But it is never too early or too late to begin mastering healthy habits and changing your life … after all,
investing in your health could be the best investment you’ll ever make!
The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be
